Educational Investments, that is. We are proud to support the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County’s SPECTRA and Mariposa’s Art whose programs this year will provide more than 10,000 students the opportunity to participate in theater, visual arts, music, and dance programs. Both programs focus on students whose schools have little or no funding for arts specific education. The Mariposa’s Art program trains and pays teens to teach and mentor kids in arts and music education, while the SPECTRA program provides grants to schools in the county for arts education. These activities enrich the lives of students throughout the county. We see the impact of these programs as a direct and worthy investment in our local community.
