CASA of Santa Cruz County

While we do know a thing or two about homes, we have discovered a whole new meaning for “CASA.” We know that hundreds of children in the Santa Cruz area have been taken in by the foster care system and what they need most in their developmental lives is a constant, positive influence.

CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, provides a caring adult whose sole focus is to love and advocate for these children in need, and whose reassuring presence is strong and constant. CASA recruits, screens, trains and supervises volunteers to act on behalf of these children.

CASA of Santa Cruz County’s services are in high demand. It is our goal to collect enough funds to train new volunteers who will provide this valuable service. For every $500 raised, another child will be taken off the current wait list and receive the advocacy they deserve.
